Process and History

The best Huangshan Maofeng green tea is picked in the spring time. According to the lunar calendar, "during the tomb sweeping" and "grain rain days", tea farmers need to pick the buds of fresh leaves by hand.

After frying and baking buds of fresh leaves, it is made into the final dry tea leaf product.

This tea was created by Xie Zheng’an in 1875, and we are sourcing it from the direct family heritage farm who invented this wonderful tea, so the quality and authenticity can be guaranteed.
